Natalie Dubose is a single mother of two living and working in Ferguson, Missouri. Dubose runs her own cake shop in the city called Natalie's Cakes and More, a business she dedicated all of her resources to in order to make a living. Dubose started her cake business by renting out a booth at the local flee market every weekend, selling her product and eventually saved enough money to open up a store, which had it's grand opening in August.
Despite pleading with protestors, her store was severely damaged in riots Monday night, but thanks to the generosity of fellow Americans she'll be back in the kitchen in no time. After learning about the destruction, fellow citizens from around the country donated more than $140,000 to a crowdfunding site dedicated to getting her back on her feet. Hundreds of people have also placed orders for her baked goods.
"It's been amazing. I've been crying but these are tears of joy. I'm just so grateful for the outpouring of love and support from people across the country and I thank them," Dubose said during an interview on Fox News Wednesday. "This [the shop] is my baby."
"I am so thankful and I'm so grateful. If I could have arms big enough I would just hug each and every last one of them but I just want to thank everyone that has contributed to helping me rebuild my shop to helping me live my dream and to helping for me to continue to be the mom that I've been to my children, to continue providing them with the support that they need," she said.

My brother-in-law is a fireman for LA County. He told me that during the Rodney King riots all they could do was knock down the fires and let the owners finish them off because there were so many fires. The people were mostly black and were very grateful bringing them drinks and hamburgers.
The regular folk are probably as appalled as we are about all the violence.
Great ending to a horrible, senseless riot.
Maybe they’ll start to get serious about self defense.
In the end it is only love that can solve hate problems.
Tempered glass will still break. She might try bullet proof. It’s nearly impossible to pierce.
She’s certainly getting enough funds for that now.

Her great example of hard work, self-sufficiency, and personal pride and self respect is a MAJOR THREAT to the lifestyle of the low-lifes that continue to represent the type of people that have torn up Ferguson and nationwide continue to choose to live in a pool of ignorance, poverty and hate....then blame it on “whitey” and those respectable Blacks that are not “black enough” for them.
She’s bourgeois. That’s anathema :-)
One really isn’t truly “self sufficient” however one can clearly show the signs of being blessed by God.

I wonder how much that black preacher, who without evidence accused “white supremacists,” got from those who watch CNN (his story played ad nauseum) and more particularly from blacks and commie activists who feel they are victims of police brutality.
America is such a mean spirited, hateful, racist nation. /s

Having said that, what skin color did the damage and what skin color made the rebuilding contributions?

Now now now. .. no need to be testy. If I had heard Rush on whatever day he asked for donations I would have donated. But now that the coffers are full. . .let’s move on. Earlier today there was a thread indicating the woman herself was soliciting donations on some site. .. perhaps it was a fake site. I do not know the identity of the gentleman but I can assure you my philanthropic causes are not lacking.
