There are at least seven hills that I’m willing to die on politically:

1. My faith in, and complete freedom to worship in spirit and truth, my risen, exalted, eternal Savior, the LORD Jesus Christ.
2. God-given, natural, unalienable, intrinsic, equal, individual rights, for every person, born and unborn.
3. Property rights, economic freedom, and the liberty to speak and publish freely
4. The right to keep and bear arms, in self-defense, in the defense of my family, property, community, and nation, and the preservation of our national sovereignty, security, and borders.
5. The defense of natural marriage, the natural family and our posterity.
6. Just, righteous, republican, limited self-government, by the consent of the governed.
7. The Constitution of the United States, and the fulfillment of the sacred, binding oath upon all to support and defend it.

I don’t trust Mitt Romney one iota on any one of those non-negotiable points, much less all of them, as is required to earn my support. He will never get a vote from me for anything, ever. End of story.

People have gotten so used to compromising the small issues they think nothing of cutting into the big ones. Most people in America have not the slightest idea of what they actually believe because it’s all become negotiable.

The last election was filled with it. The Romney fiasco almost as bad. There sat a man with literally nothing conservative in his record. Nothing. I have challenged the lesser evil crew to present ANYTHING that could on a fog filled rainy night in a hurricane be mistaken even remotely as conservative in his record.

No takers yet.

And yet somehow millions of people convinced themselves that this man was a better option than Barry. ALL of that based SOLELY on their ‘pray to the Blue Fairy’ fantasy that he would ‘grow into the office’ and completely reverse his Entire. Documented. Life.

And why wouldn’t they? They regularly convince themselves of everything so they don’t actually have to believe in anything. Because then they’d have to man up and stand behind those beliefs. Mitt was simply one more thing to make an excuse for since all they have to do is pretend it didn’t happen and there’s no downside. On the upside they can spout the utter hogwash that they tried to save America from Barry and feel themselves justified.

Most psych types refer to that as ‘rationalizing’.

I live it slightly differently. I’m willing to fight for the things you’re willing to die for. As long as I have horsepower, ammo, and daylight the dying is going to be done by those who screw with my all-of-the-above. Patton had it exactly right: Make the other SOB die for his country.-——Semper Fi
