Former Massachusetts Governor and failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney believes Republicans should "swallow hard" and pass a permanent amnesty bill in the wake of President Barack Obama's executive amnesty that even Romney conceded would encourage more illegal immigrants to enter the country.

This entire administration has been a series of mini Reischstag Fires.
Am I the only guy who believes this current turmoil has been orchestrated to serve as YET ANOTHER diversion to the DOZENS of ongoing Obama scandals, the recent immigration mess and the building crisis in the Middle East. Obama is well on the way to marginalizing the white population here with millions of new minority citizens who will soon become the new majority (and predominately welfare beneficiaries and DEMOCRAT VOTERS).
Jefferson and other founders greatly feared what that would do to America!
Estimate is that the benefits Obama will provide for them will cost YOU and your fellow tax slaves over 2 BILLION bucks per year. Better plan to file and pay early!
(Isn’t it time for the FAIRTAX??)
Whom God would destroy, He first makes mad!
Never let a crisis go to waste
It certainly doesn't save the country.

The GOPe is nothing more than RAT Light.
I knew the scumbag was lying through his teeth when he flip-flopped and pretended to be ‘tough’ on the border/illegals issue during the campaign.
My God, what a piece of human slime Romney is. Epitomizes everything I truly, truly despise in a politician. I’m glad he turned out to be the first GOP candidate in my entire voting life, both big or small office, that I refused to vote for. The man isn’t worth my spit.
So many of our little Republican primary voters are as clueless as their Democrat cousins, or there would never have been a Romney nomination.
There already is such a party, the Constitution Party, too weak to offer many candidates at all. Couldn’t even field a nominee against Cornball, “R”-TX.
I do not think Cruz will even run.
Since I am not a difficult problem or question, I do not think I can be a conundrum. I believe, however, that I can be an enigma.
Don’t put your own spin on what I said. I laid out a few ideas, one of which was to give money to people to leave and prevent their re-entry. That would actually save money in the long run if the borders were secure. But I also said not to expect that 15 million people are going to be immediately put on buses. That will not happen. Does anyone here really think that is going to happen? Not putting them on buses, however, does not preclude us from stopping more from coming in and finding ways to begin removing those who should not be here.
He obviously wasn’t interested the first time and be damne3d if they don’t want to use his name and lack of interested again. We need a kick-ass Patton type to raise above the ashes and save the republic. We may have to erect a statute of a worker that they can remember as their tramp steamer pasxsdes when we deport their dependent arses.
FUMR!

Of course we could send 15 million illegal aliens back to their own countries, it would take a little time but it most definitely could be done. Those 15 million are not congregated in one place, they are scattered about the country, and there is plenty of law enforcement scattered about the country as well. Remember, too, if we start cracking down on this, many will self deport as well.
Yes you are lol. You've bought into the idea that self deportation isn't going to happen. But it works. Look at Alabama, they cracked down and the illegals moved on. These illegals are smarter and craftier than you know. They know how to get in and out of the states so easily. The border is a joke - both directions...
Bull Shit ,Mitt!
No, I did not bring into the argument that self-deportation will not work. I said that, as much as we might want it to happen, 15 million people are not going to be put on buses and removed. We can certainly take actions that would cause people to leave, but 15 million are not going to leave immediately. Unfortunately, there is not the national will to do that, even with a president who believes in enforcing the law.
The Brietbart article NEVER quoted Romney as having said anything about passing amnesty. Read it, then comment all you like. This thread is a hit job.
So what the hell is your point? Is it this - It will take a while to make self deportation a reality so we should give up and do shAmnesty?
