You were listing things that are not true while remaining technically correct saying these untrue things are what Russians believe. Of course Russians believe a lot of untrue things due to state monopoly on propaganda.

No, obviously he was not saying that at all. You know it too, and I read his comment before it was removed. He quoted you and then simply asked you 'What your 'truth' (ie 'view of truth') was. But you had his comment removed!

For a very long time, the USA, symbolically, has represented democracy and freedom of speech, appreciating different view points in discussions. That's what the U.S. administrations claim to export to other countries, not censorship of speech due to harmless difference of opinion. Otherwise, no reason whatsoever to take the moral high ground.
