I have many friends who are active and retired military. I think I’ll take their word over yours.

Well I am one. Retired Air Force E-8. Communications and Intelligence 'fore I retired (ESC/AFIC/AIA/CSIR). Did a lot of staff work.

Here are MY words.

You are wrong. Obama does not = the military. I am ashamed at what he has done to us, but we'll survive and outlive him. He certainly has not taken over, and if you could conduct a poll (which the administration would never allow) you'd find the anti-democrat/Obama levels at 80% or more. Bank on it.

You also better believe that if he tries to use the military in an unconstitutional way (like voiding the elections or some other silly, conspiracy thing) it will be the military that will dispose of him.

Now about Russia.

THEY HAVE BEEN provoking the USA and NATO (which WE are still part of) and we have got to respond. I thought Obama would not. So this tank deployment is necessary, but I'd bet it doesn't even come from him.

Still, despite Obama, we HAVE to respond, or we might as well give Europe to the Russians. Then the USA is off the world stage, and unless you are a Paul-tard, that will be bad for us in thousands of ways.

I don't know what else to say except ask you all (not just you, AD, but every conservative) to grow a pair and stand up for our country. And YES, our signed and sworn alliances are part of our commitment and responsibility. If suddenly we're not going to support and defend NATO we need to abrogate the treaty entirely. Is that what you are suggesting?

I didn't say obama = the military.

I said that he's decimating our military.

I know what most of the military thinks of obama.

The reason Russia is becoming aggressive is because of what obama has and is doing to our military.

Instead of deploying a couple of tanks, how about we start rebuilding our military by increasing spending by 500%. That may give russia pause.

Then again, it may be too little too late.

Thanks for your service.
