At the culmination of a tumultuous day, President Obama spoke from the White House on the decision made in Ferguson not to prosecute the police officer who shot and killed an 18-year-old African American man this past August. "We need to accept that this decision was the grand jury's to make," Obama said Monday night.

Has all the excitement ended?
I guess the looter had all their hits planned out and got the electronics, liquor and what have you they wanted and have gone home.

“who could have predicted the split screen glory....here....”
Yeah, that screen was a classic. Not quite the epic fail of Neville Chamberlain triumphantly waving the piece of paper, but still, an impressive fail.

He also said,
"There are Americans who are deeply upset, even angry. It's an understandable reaction."THIS is an understandable reaction? Seriously?

I couldn’t believe his statement “there will be some negative reaction and it will make for good TV”.
It is annoying, that there is probably one reporter out there for every two committed rioters. They are drawn to cameras and floodlights like moths. Don’t give them an audience, and they’ll go home with their booty.

Did you notice that the violence did not really kick in until AFTER Obama took to the airwaves?

It looks like there’s buildings on fire. I hope it’s not the liquor store. I have a soft spot for liquor stores.

“It takes a village.”

I thought he met secretly with the riot organizers and told them to “stay the course”?
To: Biggirl
Obama says it’s “understandable” that the community will be upset at the decision. What a dumb ass thing to say.
NO. It’s NOT understandable. All the evidence was presented at the grand jury, and it’s now clear that Brown attacked the officer in his police vehicle and ended up getting himself shot.
What would be normal and understandable would be for Obama and the community to say, yeah, OK, Brown was in the wrong and brought it on himself. What would be normal would be for Obama to warn young people to obey the law and not threaten police officers on the street.

It's not a normal world anymore. The revolutionists are in charge and the destruction of America is in full swing.
