I was replying to your assertion that it is legal to lie if it’s not in writing. As I understand it, it is every bit as illegal to lie in order to defraud someone verbally as it is in writing.
It’s just really difficult to prove a case without having it in writing. That’s quite different from it being legal.
Yeah, and unless you are dealing with a prostitute, lying to get them to have sex with you is not really fraud.
