Well for giggles I went to CNN to see what they had to say...similar to what was on Gretchen and they were saying a GJ is thought to be transparent but often is not. Also on Gretchen the two interviewees DID use different terminology. I thought Gretchen said decision and the guests agreed but it could have been that one said decision and one said evidence.

FWIW CNN is bottom scrolling that the decision will be public but that seems at odds with the commentators.

CHAOS. redefining words.

I may very well have been wrong as well. Just have to wait and see.

Got it.

Part of the reason they say a grand jury is NOT transparent is that they do NOT release the evidence. That’s why this prosecutor said they would make it transparent and releasse everything.

A couple of days ago he admitted he may not be able to produce the evidence.

I wonder if that is that held them up.

Anyway, see you on thethreads later. :o)

I’m not sure how you could effectively not make the indictment/no indictment decision non-public. If there’s an indictment, there will be a trial date set. That is a matter of public record, and it certainly would be newsworthy. Therefore, even if a decision is not publicly announced, either there will be a trial date reported by media outlets or there will not. It’s really not too difficult to figure out the grand jury’s decision even if there’s no public announcement.
