As I see it, Obama does not understand what he did with his immigration executive order: By legalizing 5,000,000 illegal immigrants, the horrible effect on the people of the United States was equal to him signing 5,000,000 executive orders.
I can't think of any other president signing 5,000,000 executive orders.
Correct - just looking at the numbers is stupid. Although obama is just about the same number-wise as Bush was iirc.
But most of these EO’s, obama’s included, are for things like revising a list of medicines, creating an office for relations with Africa, etc. Although there were several related to the minimum wage and “fair” pay. It’s not the number of them, it’s whether they are legal or not.
And - this amnesty thing is called an “Executive Action”. Not sure what that really means.
