You are misinformed. If there is one thing MIT students can do, it’s math.
I worked for years for a major,very famous hospital which had its pick of the top graduates of the world's finest medical schools.As a result a good percentage of the junior doctors (interns and residents) to arrive each June were Harvard Medical School grads.
We used to joke that you could tell the Harvard grads from the others because they could talk for 5 hours about the spleen without even taking a breath but they were clueless when you handed them a pop-up umbrella.
