My bad for the jargon. It was just that the keepers of the email system have an interest other than political in keeping the data alive. It's what they're paid for. It's a point of professional pride. For what the political people said happened to have really happened, that is, for the data to be irretrievably lost, would have been a black mark of professional incompetence that, within their/our field, would be unforgivable.

If I were working for the Dems, God forbid, keeping their network and computers safe and uncracked would be a point of professional pride even though I despise the customer. Not just a matter of personal ethics, although that would be sufficient, but a matter of finding another job someday with that sort of incompetence on my resume.

Got it. I hope you’re right that there were no shenanigans and we’re finally going to start to see the evidence we know for a fact is out there.

Not that anyone with an R after their name will do a damn thing about it. Frickin issa makes me ill.
