Bachmann said that Congress will be back in D.C. Dec. 1-11, and she said “Hannity” viewers must “melt the phone lines” and tell them to “defund amnesty.”

“I’m calling on your viewers to come to D.C. on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at high noon on the west steps of the Capitol. We need to have a rally, and we need to go visit our senators and visit our congressmen because nothing frightens a congressman like the whites of his constituents’ eyes.”

Turnout won’t be small because of the weather. We have marched in the March for Life events when the weather was so bad only a million or so people showed up. If this was coming from anyone but Swiss-citizen Bachmann, I’d give it some consideration. This is likely DOA and will hurt the whole effort. Who does she think she is to organize something meaningful? Did she think this through? Days after Thanksgiving, in the winter. A couple hundred people, even a thousand will be pathetically embarrassing.

The defunding she is referring to is for the costs to grant green cards or whatever it takes for Obama to allow illegals to stay and work in this country.
