Oh you bet..... I should know....I just got dumped today after 5 yrs. with the company.... and heard from one of the girls tonight they already replaced me with a new graduate who was waiting in the wings....willing to work for minimum wage......just wait til other employees are replaced for minimum wage workers across the country because they too will work for minimum wage.
Oddly, many have not yet figured this out.
Two things I observed about the 1986 amnesty. One- tough immigration laws were passed along with amnesty to insure the problem would not repeat, liberals cried the laws were too harsh so darn few were ever enforced. The second thing I observed was wholesale fraud took place. Immigration authorities were accepting statements from people who knew the illegals as proof they qualified for amnesty, along with real estate agreements, rental agreements, pay stubs, utility bills, all easy to fake. I bet more false documents were filed than real ones. Same will happen this time.
You really gotta wonder how many illegals are actually in the country. Truth is zero may have done more damage over the past year by allowing who knows how many sick and diseased kids, drug dealers,gang memebers,etc. and who knows whom else than he is doing now. We will never know. since they are always four steps ahead of us.
