we have to go on strike and not buy anything also only food

* * *

In general I’m not big on strikes, but I think we the people need to make a big symbolic gesture that can’t be ignored by the Rats. If the nation’s economy took a sudden blip downward, that would actually be noticed. I’m sure the pundits would demonize the GOP about it but at least it would be NOTICED. I live in California and there’s no point wasting my breath calling up Pelosi and Feinstein (yes!! I am doubly blessed, am I not?) to tell them to stop amnesty. But if we organize a No Buy Day, that would get at least some minor notice.

Is anyone else on board with this idea? What can you add to it? Shall we start a new thread?

Looking into the idea of a strike . . . I see that maybe what we’re actually talking about is a boycott. I really like this idea: Buy nothing on one appointed day except for no-tax items such as food and diapers. If we buy no taxable items that day, then NO TAXES go to our government and our President Who Thinks He’s King for that one day.

Open to other ideas too! But I want to DO something besides just burn up the phone lines. As I mentioned before, because I’m in CA, my reps don’t give a rat’s patootie what I think, and other reps in other states don’t care about my opinion because they’re not my rep and I can’t vote for them. Anyway, I’d like to organize something everyone can get in on, no matter where they live. Who’s with me? :)

And here’s a good link on how to organize a boycott:
