To vote against it, hurts America and puts us at risk of domination by Middle Eastern petro states.
Run it again, guys. In January.
Remember when the press called filibusters evil?????
Harry let every one of his drones for it that he could!
Kaine will be sorry, though Harry surely promised him plenty of enviro-pimp donations
This will change in January, when Harry Reid is gone.
There is a side of me that asks why do we need Congress to approve the pipeline, just build the dang thing. I know if it was me, I’d try to get the States that are involved together and we’d all work together to build it with or without DC’s blessing. BTW, who died and left DC/Congress in charge? I would not trust them to build a Lego house.
All the nays should be replaced.
This wasn’t a “real” vote. It was just Kabuki theater.
In January, we will have the votes. Obama, vetoes? Stay tuned.
Well, duh. Why d'ya think Democrats oppose it?!?
/sarc
I guess its okay for his family to get rich off of oil, but not for anybody else's family.
The creeps prevailed.
Has anyone looked at what the vote difference will be in January, from the individual seats?
Nelson (D-FL) is a real POS!
He also voted FOR the UNSAT.
How many of the 14 dems that voted’yea’ will be present in January
Exactly...I knew the number would be 59. For those who thought this was a real vote, Graber was right.
Why did Landrieu push for a vote when she didn’t have the vote?
Obviously she was unable to get those in her party to see the value in the Keystone Pipeline. She has made the case that democrats need to be replaced.
Why bother to have a vote b4 January?
Scumbag Rockefeller voted “nay”. Perhaps his last vote ever ...
I’m quite confident that Capito will vote “yea” on this sort of thing.
Harkin, Rockefeller and Udall of CO will be replaced by Republicans. So, the Keystone should be passed with 62 votes next years.
