“Either it’s brought to court or it’s character assassination.”

I have to take exception to that comment. I was a witness to an act of attempted sexual abuse, assault, prostitution, and much more. The perpetrator was shielded by diplomatic immunity and successful acts of intimidation and oppression by the perpetrator’s accomplices in a public academic institution. By all rights the perpetrator and his accomplices deserved to be prosecuted, convicted, and sent to prison. Instead, they were effectively immune from investigation, much less prosecution and conviction. This was due to the diplomatic immunity and the public stature of the accomplices versus my unsupported witness testimony as a student. One of the reasons this diplomat committed the crimes was the sense of power it gave him. You could literally see how what he was doing gave him a thrill. This is all too often the case for many celebrities. They commit abominable acts just for the thrill of it, oblivious of all of the consequences of such bad behavior.

Given the way in which the alleged victims often tried to seek justice for the crimes committed against them before the statute of limitations expired only to be oppressed and denied access to the courts, they deserve to be heard now as a warning to future victims of such crimes. If Bill Cosby feels he is being unjustly defamed, he certainly has the legal resources to defend his reputation and reset the statute of limitations by bringing a complaint to court. Meanwhile, the public can consider the question of whether or not Bill Cosby does not challenge such allegations against him, because those allegations may be true. If so, such a complaint by Bill Cosby could forfeit the full protection he is presently receiving under the statute of limitations.

This is probably normal in Hollyweird, kids don’t have a chance there.
