I wasn’t going all the way to picometre, but if you insist...
I just truly despise enviro types now.
We had a bridge down the road from where we used to live.
Built by the WPA in 1936, it was falling apart and needed immediate replacement.
The day they started pulling the decking off, the local enviro lawyer drove around the barriers, out onto the torn up bridge -which he would have litigated for if his tires punctured- and leaped out of his vehicle into the path of the crane counterweight.
Almost got his head removed.
He had greased some palms and gotten an injunction, which left this partially torn up unsafe bridge sitting for three months while endless studies were done.
Finally, it was admitted that the bridge was unsafe.
All it took was someone kicking the bridge abutment and watching three square foot of concrete crumble in response.
The enviro lawyer seethed as the old bridge was taken down.
THEN HE TRIED TO PREVENT ITS REPLACEMENT.
What a doofus..
