I think we are all trying to figure out the meaning of a couple of huge "coincidences." The Democrat loss of the Senate and continued control of the House by Republicans coincides with Gruber's major screw up. For the moment, both of these things are damaging to the Democrats politically. Where is this leading?

Interesting point that was also brought up last night in a very interesting conversation with an old friend who is a retired international banker and one of the smartest/wordly people I know.

He’s pretty much of a cynic in that he almost always defaults to the view that nothing is coincidental or accidental.

So, yeah, why now?
