Is this the shirt in question?

It is low class -- but hardly offensive.

And if Rachel thinks this is a "cool guy" then....no accounting for taste I guess.

Try wearing that shirt to any industry R&D big corporate job.

I dare you.

But only if you wear a go pro so the rest of us can see you get in trouble with HR.

That he’s getting away with/gotten away with this in a government science job is hardly surprisng.

Merely could have apologized for the shirt, expressing that he meant no harm and stating how he understood how it might be seen as offensive, without making a complete fool of himself. Next question.

I’m telling you right now the powers that be would hate my hawaiian shirt collection, especially the ones with native women carrying stuff on their heads.

The shirt was designed by a woman who is friends with Taylor.

I think the shirt is awesome. I reminds me of classic Science Fiction and Fantasy illustrations as well as those Mid-Modern pin-up illustrations.

Inappropriate for a workplace, and for a public appearance. And generally elsewhere, IMO, but that’s his business. I’m surprised no one who who works with didn’t call him out on it first.

I’d say, if there’s a problem, it’s with the tats, not the shirt!

Is this the shirt in question?

I can't tell where the shirt ends and his unnatural arms begin.
