RE: ast January or so they said it would be six months or a year before they had actual gay marriage ceremonies, so youre saying they have had them there?
I’m not saying that they have been held at the National Cathedral, I’m talking about the DENOMINATION that controls the cathedral — the Episcopalians.
Episcopalians have already voted in their convention to authorize an official liturgy for blessing same-sex unions.
And as for the National Cathedral, they have already announced that they would now also hold weddings for same-sex couples.

I know the Episcopalians have it in jurisdictions where it is recognized by civil law, like DC. I was trying to find out if they actually had any ceremonies yet in the Nat. Cathedral. You would think that would have been a story somewhere—first ‘gay marriage’ performed in NC.’ From your article:
“Dean Hall said that the cathedral marries only couples who are congregants, volunteers, donors or graduates of the cathedrals schools, but that there are no gay couples yet in the pipeline.
