On June 13, 2012, Obamacare Jonathan Gruber was interviewed by Frontline. He told them that the Cadillac tax issue was addressed in 2009. Obama knew it was going to be a problem, and they all agreed to lie about it.
What Jonathan Gruber is taking heat for right now, was planned out specifically with Barack Obama. It wasnt just him. It was all of them, with Obama in the room taking part.

Wiki implies that he was back at MIT by 2012.

New Gruber Video Suggests Obama was in on Tax Deception

His wife (Andrea Gruber, donated to Al Frankin campaign in January 2010 and 2008) hmmmmm Fascinating
He was still “traveling around” the Country making speeches on behalf of this mess.
This guy is incredibly hard to listen to. I have to hit ‘stop’ on the vid and go back.
Sound to me like, “the American people are stupid”, became a stump speech for him.
Hummn
interesting..his wife was addicted to drugs. began with Rx. at age 11...wow.
guess they don’t have kids..non listed anyway...what ever..typical liberals NY’ers.
Obama was at the center of this deception. He specifically ordered Gruber and other healthcare experts to find ways to game the CBO numbers so that the bill would pass. In his gleeful showboating over passing the bill, Jonathan Gruber has clearly identified _resident Obama as the source of the lie behind the Cadillac Tax. - The story is no longer about Jonathan Gruber. -- Its about the deliberate lie the (illegal) _resident used to pass this monstrosity of a healthcare law.
Ahem...
They have three (3) kids and Gruber says that they convinced him to write the Obamacare Comic book. When I read that, could not help but think of the Jimmy Carter quote about Amy and Nuclear Policy discussion when she was 12. (during the Debate with Ronald Reagan)
His talks sounded pretty much the same and his speed of delivery was the same. Talked so fast and threw out numbers that for me, it was impossible to digest without stopping the vid and rewinding. If I was in one of his classes, I would not be able to take notes. I’m not sure if it’s just him or him and the academic “intimidating tactic” by using big words. No one wants to raise their hand and look “stupid” by asking, “What did you say?”.
Wife donated to the game-the-system Elizabeth Warren.
Holy crap!
Bret B mentioned tonite that only CBS mentioned it and that was this a.m. NBC and ABC to no one’s surprise, had completely ignored it
“On July 20, 2009, Jonathan Gruber meets with POTUS in the West Wing. He was there almost four hours.”

SEND DOCTOR BILL TO THE RICH - BARACK RIPS GOP FOES IN HEALTH-CARE TAX PITCH
New York Post (NY) - Thursday, July 23, 2009
Author: GEOFF EARLE Post Correspondent
WASHINGTON - President Obama confronted critics of his embattled health-care plan head-on in a prime time news conference last night - slamming Republicans for spreading “misinformation” and saying he will tax the wealthy but not the middle class to pay for reform.
Obama offered his first support for an idea floated by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to help bankroll reform by slapping higher taxes on couples jointly earning more than $1 million a year.
“To me, that meets my principle that it’s not being shouldered by families who are already having a tough time,” he said.
