The venerated American Revolution began because authorities were attempting to confiscate guns. I’d say confiscation remains a valid reason to begin another. Death to tyrants!

Seems like I saw a robber using the obituaries on an episode of old Dragnet. Might be the one with Burt Mustin.
I have heard about thefts and obituaries going hand in hand for decades.

likewise here Grace - my pop and myself have everything on each others permits

. . . were cross referencing all the pistol permit holders with the death records, and were sending people out to collect the guns whenever possible so that they dont end up in the wrong hands, "Collect" guns?
Article the second... A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Article the fourth... The right of the people to be secure in their . . . effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated . . .
Article the fifth... No person shall be . . . deprived of . . . property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
NY manages to violate three out of ten articles in the Bill of Rights with one immoral policy. It's no wonder they set the standard for democrats nationwide. I miss freedom.

I imagine they will murder the family pet and destroy and gut the house, in their Bolshevik zeal to find the guns. Can’t even have a funeral reception at the house, it’s been tossed, shredded, sofas cut, drawers and papers all over, dishes broken, and so on.
To: JimRed
Why?
Because they are “just following orders”?
As long as they know how to read, they share responsibility with their masters.

Outright theft of estates by police, robbing private citizens who may be heirs to valuable property. Exactly right. Coming soon to a city near you.

make sure your spouse and or son/daughter has a permit and has your guns on said permit and the doughnut munchers can't do a thing.

I am on the complete opposite side of the fence from you. There is nothing in the Constitution about registering my personal firearms with the Feds or the Governor. What I buy to protect my family and myself is nobody’s business except those who would do us harm. They will get a personal presentation of the methods and tools I choose to use for our personal defense. My wife and I are in complete agreement on this issue.
