Almost half of the low-income Americans who have enrolled in Medicaid in the past two years are immigrants to the United States, according to a new report, suggesting that Obamacare’s large expansion in the program will disproportionately benefit immigrants as well.
“The data show that immigrants and their children accounted for 42 percent of the growth in Medicaid enrollment from 2011 to 2013,” the CIS report says.

Too many politicians on the Democrat and Republican side of aisle believe they can fix the Social Security and Medicare Ponzi Scheme mess by importing millions of new taxpaying people into the USA.
Sounds like a good idea, but it does not work.
We already have millions of people out of work and on disability, food stamps, and welfare because of Obama’s open borders.
Do we really want 500 million or more people living in the USA?
Illegal immigrants are ineligible for Medicaid currently and are technically ineligible for the Medicaid expansion or any other direct Obamacare benefits, but fraud in the program is rarely investigated and recipient-level eligiblity is rarely investigated.
Moot point. MY great-grandparents+, when they came to this county, had to show they would benefit the U.S. when they (LEGALLY) immigrated.
D.C. keeps the barn door open, and seemingly only benefits those from outside the U.S.
The combination of the ever-expanding Welfare State and open borders is a national suicide pact.
I just read that they accounted for like 47% of all job growth too.

On the lighter brighter side illegals also have poor heath and lots of very expensive diseases to cure. Luckily the American middle class has money to burn and can easily afford to provide free medical care to anyone who wants it.../s

Their beloved Democrat Party is using Federal resources to give free health care away to immigrants, rather than using it for programs to benefit “da workin’ man!”

Want to get madder? A family member is a nurse practitioner. She frequently treats immigrants on Medicaid, many of whom just arrived in the US and some that are illegal. Our government pays to support these people but not our veterans! Even worse, Obamacare intends to take money from Medicare (for which working Americans paid) and shift it to Medicaid to continue the giveaway. Supreme Court must end this program as it clearly discriminates against working class.

If legal immigrants are using 42% of the Medicaid or about $4.6 billion per year, then how much are we paying for illegal immigrant healthcare through state and local government and chartity programs?
Just because the Federal Government is not paying the bill, does not me the bill is not there.

About 6-8 years ago there was at least one story each week in the local paper regarding welfare fraud...over payments, ineligibility, etc. It was always people who were not born in this country. Since then, nothing
I was thinking last night how we should just give American citizenship to anyone that wants it as all they will do is send a pregnant girl here and have her baby and in little time the whole family can come! Plus, many have their babies, get benefits and then return ‘home’. They know if there is an uproar in their country that we’ll send ships and men to get them out when they claim their ‘American’ citizenship.
I’ve heard that on the Mexico border that Post Offices have boxes that get hundreds of monthly govt. checks and deliver them across the border.
I am afraid until we are declared broke we will not attempt to fix anything as our reps are too busy flying around the world just as Obama for free vacations.
And, we learned that the govt. and insurance companies have a deal when you have a preemie baby. They go on Medicaid at birth for two years! That is even when the parents are insured. So, the big children’s hospitals are govt. funded hospitals in the neo-natal units I suppose!

Murderers often use their victims compassionate nature to lure them to their death. The Democrats simply saw an angle they could use to destroy America and they took it.

Its interesting I am in a community that has a huge population of immigrants from Russia, Moldova, Ukraine. Many of these people have parents that come and immediately get them on SS# and housing assistance, food stamps, its ironic because many are believers in Christ, but yet they come out of a post communist impoverished society and think nothing of taking government handouts. The younger ones work very hard however and contribute to our society (at the least the followers of Jesus) can’t speak to the secular ones.
Diversity is our strength. These illegals are accepting welfare that real Americans wouldn’t accept, which is why we need them.
