“Aye. If only the courts had overturned DOMA then, Congress probably would have been spured into action back when it would have passed. Remember as late as 2000, VERMONT of all States went GOP in the State house in protest of CIVIL UNIONS, not even full marriage. That was just 14 years ago.

It sadly has zero chance to pass or be ratified now.”

That may or may not be true, one way or the other it really doesn’t matter. People are scared even speaking out against this evil has cost people their jobs and opposites because our enemy is evil and completely intolerant of different opinions. Even if those opinions were near universal just a decade ago.

Sodomy is not marriage, and it never will be no matter what the courts or participants might choose to call it, and insist we treat it as. It is a sinful relationship and self-destructive act that can lead only to disease and injury. Theses are the facts of science as well as the true laws of God and they will never change no matter how unpopular they might become in the repressive ideology of those tyrannical men who lawlessly try to rule us from the bench.

What we can say of marriage is that it must by nature of practice & understanding be dead among those who believe the ‘Federal court’s edits’. Their supposed ‘wives’ or ‘husbands’ can be regarded open game, much as they are already by their own sinful understanding open in heart and mind.

That does not however mean that marriage is dead among those who are still committed to the historic family based definition & function of marriage. For them alone where marriage still lives in their hearts and minds a Marriage can faithfully exists unbroken and defended if not by state then by the one man and one woman among whom it really matters.

Years ago I read someone say here, “You can call a dog a cat but it’s still a dog”. That kind of sums it up to me.
