Donald Trump is stepping up to help newly-released Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi.

Besides facing the aftermath of the seven-month Mexican prison incarceration that he suffered, Tahmooressi is also facing PTSD from his two tours in Afghanistan.

Donald Trump has now sent Tahmooressi a check for $25,000. Whether or not the money is to be used for treatment is unknown. Either way, the gesture is first class.

I applaud the Donald for his gift to Sgt. Tahmooressi. I'm not a great fan of Mr. Trump, but in this instance, at least, he appears to have exhibited and acted on the right instincts. IMO, if he were POTUS, Sgt. Tahmooressi would have been liberated much more quickly - and Bergdahl would still be living in Dar Al Islam, where he belongs.

Trump is one of the few billionaires who has any kind of genuine sympathy and understanding towards regular, middle-class people. Gates and Zuckerberg and their ilk put on big dog-and-pony shows and write a lot of checks, but the recipients are always, without exception, those who can be used to advance cultural Marxism, extreme leftism, and a never-ending supply of cheap labor. Since you failed at reading comprehension of this story: American goes past Mexican border with no place to turn around. Has guns in car. Gets stopped by Mexican corrupt police, arrested, tossed into Mexican jail, rots for a long time while Obama plays golf, goes through Mexican courts then gets quickly released. Trump sends the guy a few bucks, and you rant about PTSD.

I'm not trying to hijack the thread, but the way they gloated after "liberating" Bergdahl, who was apparently doing just fine - not to mention the release of five high-value Taliban in exchange for his sorry @$$ - juxtaposed to the more than six months of inaction regarding the illegal incarceration of Sgt. Tahmooressi, who did nothing more than make a wrong turn on the Freeway - says everything you need to know about the treasonous Regime now in power.

They must be turned out by, as their hero Malcolm X was fond of saying, "By Any Means Necessary!"
