We do the same. Should they shoot down ours?

You really seem to have a hard on for a war with Russia.

We have a lot of unarmed planes regularly patrolling near Russian and Chinese airspace. The Russians use their bombers as air recon. The most we should do is jam them, and I’d advise against that as it reveals our jamming capacity. So, if they get close, intercept and escort. If they stay outside the line (whatever that is today) then keep an eye on them. Shoot down...not a game we should play as we have too much to lose.

Have they invaded our airspace? Have they violated any treaties? Do you just want to start WWIII to live out some apocalyptic fantasy? With all the trillions we have spent on defense you’d think we could keep an eye on them to prevent any misunderstandings.
