No they would not. They would just have to start paying the premiums without taxpayer subsidy

Which means all those who could not afford the premiums without the subsidy, all those who had their children under 26 on their policies, all those who got policies with pre-existing conditions, and others. Add them all up and it will be in the millions. And all of a sudden the media will pay attention to them.
