The inference of saying, “....who claims”, is a thinly veiled assertion that he may not have really made the shot. I have not heard any other Seal come out and make a statement otherwise. But it killing CBS to know Fox is getting the stories and they are being excluded out. Sort of Chickens**t if you ask me. But they need to adjust their minds to the notion that no one believes them anymore, and there are other news organizations to watch. They have crapped in their own punch bowl. Either they need to get back to telling the truth or be prepared to suffer a substantial drop in viewership.
Yes, it did sound like they were suggesting he might be lying. But I wouldn’t rule out incompetence on the part of the local news person who didn’t realize his wording would come across as throwing aspersions on the veracity of the SEAL.
