The body was not shown for the obvious reasons that it was shot point blank multiple times and was made quite grisly. It was also buried at sea for the obvious reason that he would have been made a martyr at his burial site by radical jihadists.
By the way, AQ confirmed the death on its official website and vowed retaliation. Intercepts also showed after the attack that high level Pakistani ISI intelligence officers knew of Bin Laden’s presence at the Abbottobad site.

What conspiracy theory? I haven’t advocated any conspiracy theories, you jackass. I simply won’t take liar Obama’s word for anything when he says “trust me”. It could be that Obama’s story is true, but I have no way of knowing, because I have seen no evidence to back it up.

Tamerlane Tsarnaev’s body was grisly, as was Saddam Hussein’s hanging, and Gaddafi’s execution. Yet, we’ve seen all of those, within days. I simply don’t believe that nobody would snap a few cell phone pics of OBL on the slab.

That’s a more believable excuse than the one that Obama gave, but it’s still awfully convenient that the one piece of evidence that might verify the story was supposedly dumped in the ocean almost immediately.

First, AQ is not a trustworthy source, at least to me. Second, it seems quite likely that AQ simply thinks he is dead for the same reasons that you think he is dead. Certainly they weren’t allowed to perform their own autopsy!

Him being present there is not confirmation that he was killed in the raid, now is it?
