What’s your point? You sound like a liberal when all you can do is call names. Alcohol prohibition and pot prohibition have similarities. That’s true. Both drugs do harm to those who use them, and the more they’re used the more harm they do. I think this is obvious.

Really? I sound like a liberal because of insults? All I see from posters like you are name-calling (the potheads, druggies, dopians, etc.) and silly strawmen that either ignore or trivialize the very real issues surrounding the War on Drugs in favor of smug self-righteousness.

There are two main arguments presented here constantly against the WoD: 1) the WoD has exceeded its Constitutional boundaries (asset forfeiture, no-knock raids, violations of states' rights, etc.), 2) the WoD has produced a mentality towhich violates the very concept of individual liberty upon which this country and its laws were supposedly based. In both cases the history of alcohol in the USA is an EXACT PARALLEL to marijuana prohibition, which is why it is constantly referred to.

Address those arguments and you might be taken seriously. Otherwise, it is just the usual inane jackassery.
