I would not take up for Barbour normally, but this is just dumb. The term “tar baby” is not racist; it merely refers to a situation in which one tries to confront or attack a situation and merely winds up being stuck to it.

Glad when Barbour is called out but not when it is over something stupid like this. Maybe next, he’ll get into trouble for calling someone niggardly.
