What is it with this guy?

‘the only saving grace being he has nothing to offer dems after the spanking last week & as such, they will be more apt to marginalize him.’
I think you’re right, and that is the really interesting question. Everything Obama does these days seems to rub the electorate the wrong way—starting with his malignant, spoiled, childish, vindictive determination to ram amnesty down the throats of a population that dramatically told him they didn’t want it.
The Dems will suffer mightily if Obama goes through with this threat, and all his other vengeance schemes against the electorate that rejected him. The bottom line is, what will they do about it?

Kowtow, which is borrowed from kau tau in Cantonese, or koutou in Mandarin Chinese, is the act of deep respect shown by prostration, that is, kneeling and bowing
While the full prostration thing is now rarely done, the bowing, slight or full waist bend, in greeting as a sign o respect, usually to elders or those in a higher social or economic position, is very common in China and among those dealing with Asian or Chinese persons. It is usually meant as a greeting or sign of respect.
Hand shaking is not as common as in the West; thus the bow of the head as a respectful recognition.
None of the ones I ever knew were into it. In fact one of my friends said: "I not bow to Japanese".
He was p!$$ed!
There is much animosity among certain groups towards the Japanese. Especially among some Chinese(as well as other groups); their actions during WWII have left a lot of hatred in many people. I can understand your friends comment.
I might even be said to share his views.
