I didn’t know he was a governor, I thought he would have been in hiding still

People in OH don’t necessarily vote for president based on who their governor is.

I doubt Kasich was involved in that - if he had been, we would have heard about it when he ran against Strickland in 2010. Just a rumor.

John Newton Mitchell said c. 1969 “watch what we do, not what we say.”

It was a massive sweep, probably better than Rockefeller ever did in NY.

RE: Oh please. That name belongs in the history books under “Loser”

I don’t think he has ever lost an election. Not for Congress and not for governor.

That’s no measure of anything. How many elections did Obama lose, after all?

RE: That’s no measure of anything. How many elections did Obama lose, after all?

He is the leader of the Democrats. And he said that the elections were about his policies.

Therefore by the measure he himself proclaimed, he lost 2 elections BY LANDSLIDES. 2010 and this year.

He wrote all of the GOP budgets when he was in Congress.

Given that there was no real conservative victory even here, how many did he really lose?
