Obama orders 'mental-health' testing for schoolkids

Using “gun violence” as its cover, the Obama administration has quietly unleashed a cache of federal dollars that will be used for testing students for signs of mental health issues in K-12 schools.

Critics say personal information scooped up in the screenings will be logged into databases that will follow the child throughout his or her academic career and beyond.

Public schools, which have increasingly taken on aspects of psychiatric clinics in recent years, will get infused with more than $150 million in federal grants to further this agenda under the auspices of Obama’s 2013 executive action titled “Now is the Time to Do Something About Gun Violence.”

Obama took the action following the Sandy Hook, Connecticut, school shooting, putting Vice President Joe Biden in charge of a task force on “gun violence.”

Both Democrat and Republican want the party to go on indefinitely. Bad behavior, no matter how obnoxious, is overlooked... the party must go on.

We’re the ones who foot the bill and suffer the consequences. We must take away the punch bowl and throw these belligerent bums out.

Both Democrat and Republican defend the status quo. The status quo can not stand. We must destroy the Uniparty or be destroyed by them.

“Do your parents own and keep guns in your house?”

That will be the key question, the kid will be found to be mentally incapable to ever own a firearm OR LIVE IN A HOUSEHOLD WHERE FIREAMS ARE PRESENT.

Next Question: Do your Grandparents own firearms?

Like another poster said, they will test for government-approved ways of thinking. They will probe for attitudes about gay and “LGBT” crap. They will ask about guns in the house. If the kid doesn’t think the “right” thoughts, he will be marked as mentally ill for life.

The murderer in Sandy Hool wasn’t in school. Several mental illnesses appear in the early 20s. His mother and the parents of the young adult who shot the congresswoman could have done more but one thing they couldn’t do was commit their ill adult child.

The boy in Santa Barbara and the recent one in WA could have passed both screenings.

I know all the tests the school district would give and they are extraordinarily intrusive. You DONT want them in a child’s public file. This would make HIIPA obsolete because it would break all privacy rules.

...and who will be “giving” these tests? Probably the same “educators” who prey on the children for sex. Maybe the school “psychologists” who probably should be given tests themselves. What a disgusting development. Home school! Before this is done, all politicians and their families should take required “psychological tests”.

But their criminal records will be expunged when they reach age 18.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

HIPAA is an excellent point. Just how do they expect to comply with that whilst carrying out a scheme like this.

Fk that.

If I had children, I would not allow them to be subjected to psych tests, which would irreparably imoair their future.

I homeschooled my son exclusively.

He is 25 and works for himself making an income much higher than the average American.

I am proud to say he never ever stepped one foot in a traditional school. Public or private. That includes college.
Imagine that, a self supporting, successful 20 something who lives on his own in an expensive city.

The best decision I ever made was to homeschool our son.
