that really stinks! Is your internet tied into phone or TV?

It's DSL on our phone line.

When they're working on the lines, every dang day, it seems, the land line crackles and
pops, and you can barely hear the other person. And the Internet is non compos mentis.

We depend on the internet for contact with others. I remember when we had neighbors instead.

Right and so many of my best and dearest friends are here on FR.

Whenever my landline is out - Internet is out.
iphone can connect me, but posting is difficult.
