Thank-you for your efforts in Colorado in nudging the Senator-Elect to the right.

I’ll do my part here in Maine. Unfortunately, we’ve got Susan Collins. But we re-elected a TEA Party conservative, Paul LePage, as governor, and we elected a GOP conservative, Bruce Poliquin, to Maine’s Second Congressional District, the largest congressional district in the U.S. east of the Mississippi River. It covers 80% of Maine.

The GOP also won control of the Maine Senate and increased their numbers in the Maine House.

Maine has always been a conundrum to me. Susan Collins and Olympia Snow while others are conservative Republicans? I must admit it, I don’t understand. Kind of like VT too. Live Free or Die and NO gun control yet Democrats seem to win there so often. Huh?

I guess us poor people in fly over country are never going to understand the NE mindset. Now we have GOP governors in blue states? I’m getting further behind in my understanding abilities.
