NO question and as before our mission should you accept is to present the best conservative candidates we can. Get them through the primary process and them support them all we can.
Hopefully not.We all know where that leads. The Tea Party is our third party. We can take back the Republican party form the GOPe through the Tea Party.
There are so many reasons we need to get rid of ozero and the Chicago thugocracy it would take several books.(stay warm)
And never forget the words he spoke from the Pennsylvania State House:
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!
We are watching! You are officially on notice.
And if Mitch McConnell wants to punch this Tea Partier in the nose, he better bring friends and his lunch!
By the way Sharyl was awesome on the Hungry Howie show.
IMHO,She remains a pure, unbiased, journalist one of the few I know of.Her concerns are always the story and little else. Who, what, where, when, how and why are the questions asked.
Sadly she was ravaged at CBS when she kept on being a pure journalist instead of an obamabot. She did the right/stand up thing and quit.
I gotta get her book.
Hey she's a Gator as well!
Doesn't get much better.!!
Great stuff,(great beer I hear)
We just got here, it’s been RAT for about 50 years. We still need to capture the Maine House.
Immigration will be the litmus test.
They are "otherwise occupied." Here they are, planning a cozy weekend togther:
John: Lean in closer, linda. You won't believe the weekend I have planned just for us.
linda: Sounds good, sweetie. BTY, I love what you're doing with your left hand. Shall I bend over this chair a bit more?
Don’t forget:
7. Bedbugs!
Remember "Gravitas"?
I’ll tell you what... Maine rocks...
Now tell me what the Hell happened to New Hampster?????
Massholes, from Massivestupits.
Maine puzzles me too sometimes, and I’ve been here for twenty-five years. Before that, I lived in southern California for 16 years.
Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe manage to appeal to both democrats and republicans alike, which explains why they do so well in elections. They’re just not conservative, unfortunately, but many conservatives voted for them anyway because there was no where else to go.
Also, the bulk of Maine’s population is in southern Maine or, as some people call it, “North Massachusetts.”
Southern Maine, and the coastal areas further up the coast,
have a lot of transplants from liberal states like Mass. and, unfortunately, they bring their voting patterns with them. I’ve seen these grey-haired women in their 50’s and 60’s driving their Preius’ with an Obama sticker on the back bumper. I even saw a few cars recently with “Kerry/Edwards” bumper stickers. Talk about living in the past.
“Live Free or Die” in the motto of neighboring New Hampshire, a state where Massachusetts residents have moved in great numbers.
Maine also has a lot of poverty in the rural areas and these people usually vote dem in presidential elections but they love Paul LePage, our TEA Party governor. Maine lately has been getting more purple than blue. especially the northern half of the state.
Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe both supported Paul LePage in his re-election bid, and they also supported him four years ago when he first ran. I met Olympia Snowe in a supermarket here in late August of 2010, and had a private 20 minute conversation with her. She told me she was all for Paul LePage. I remember crossing my fingers on both hands, and holding them in front of Olympia Snowe’s face. I said, speaking of 2012, “I hope Sarah Palin runs!” She just nodded her head, and gave me a small smile.
Maine per capita had the highest number of National Guard troops serving in Iraq, and Senators Collins and Snowe would always attend the funerals of the men killed in battle and visited with their families, so I give them high marks for that.
I didn’t vote for Susan Collins last Tuesday....I did a right in. She won with 68% of the vote.
Olympia Snowe is now out of office, but her successor, “independent” Sen. Angus King, is far worse.
By the way, Maine had the highest voter turnout of any state on Tuesday....69%.
