It is only “mud” if it is libelous or false. If someone breaks the law, or knows of lawbreaking and does not report it, calling them on it is not mud. Especially when they are applying to become the highest ranking law officer in the US.
Methinks there was a misunderstanding in this communiqe - the *MUD* I was referring to was of the type acquired by swine... ;-)
