You can certainly say that the change he wants is destructive, but how do you prove that he consciously wants destructive change? It may make someone feel good to toss around charges like that, but portraying opponents as relishing destruction hurts whatever argument is being made.
Marxism IS destruction. You could always connect things in that manner.
