The constitution will prevail because there are many checks like 2A they know they must defeat to succeed. If people refuse gun control and have backbone, communism will never overtake us if we scrutinize our overseers too.

Demographics have changed, the Greatest Generation is no more, whatever is left is divided in subcultures who are at each other’s throat, PC rules, and unity is a thing of the past — a political atmosphere in which a person like Obama thrives.
Correct. The Constitution is so constructed to insure the cooperation is required by all branches of government to create laws and govern by the consent of the people. Deviation by any branch is held in check by the other branches. The left has attempted to abrogate the process and ignore the constraints of the Constitution as long as the people were fooled into believing the left's actions are for their good. Tuesday brought that to a screaming halt. The left lost the public. Now Congress can push back. There has to be a will to follow the Constitution. Up and until Tuesday the will to uphold the Constitution was limited by the lack of control of the Senate. The first order of business is to contain the executive branch. The second order of business is to allow Obama to discredit Obama and the left so that a conservative becomes the next POTUS.
I believe in the power and integrity of the Constitution. I believe in the exceptional nature of Americans, the love of freedom, and orneriness when it comes to be pushed around. I believe we are seeing our country righting itself.
