The media have barely mentioned Mia Love or Tim Scott’s elections.
The liberals should be happy about these elections because they want us to celebrate diversity.
Mia Love adds to gender and ethnic diversity in Congress. Tim Scott adds to ethnic diversity in the Senate. There is also the historic issue of Tim Scott being elected in a state of the old Confederacy. Certainly the liberals and the NAACP would hail such an historic election.
but younger people offer so much more energy and a can do spirit...
and if the pubs really want to step into the 21st century, they had better open lots and lots of avenues for younger people and minorities...
btw what constitutes "biracial" anymore?....obola is NEVER referred to as biracial and neither are the plethora of football and BB and baseball players that are very obviously half white....
You would think so, but I guess being black and a Republican is old news now. But an openly gay Republican? That alone should have made their front page news (to the dismay of numerous hardcore conservatives). But not even that.
