Well, except for the “we oppose all forms of homosexualism” and “defending our traditional American way of life” parts.
Actually, she hasn’t professed “homosexualism”. Identifying herself as a lesbian doesn’t “promote” the lifestyle to others. She stated a fact and added to the discussion about the GOP pandering to homosexuals. Clearly, she doesn’t seem to trumpet that on all the various forums here and kept it private (as it should be) until a thread came up where she posted a relevant argument. My best friend came out as a lesbian to me last year. It unnerved me, not because she suddenly said she was gay, but because she deceived me. It still makes me uncomfortable only because we were so close and I never knew. I have other friends and coworkers and cousins who are and personally I just don’t much care. It’s between them and God. Sin is sin and we are all sinners. In any case, in case no one else has done so, I welcome her to FreeRepublic. She is conservative where my friend most certainly is not... odd that I haven’t heard from her today.... :P
