Not yet. Begich hasn’t conceded and may hold out for another week or so until 20,000 absentee votes are counted.

Begich would have to get 14,000 out of 20,000 votes to overtake an 8,000 vote Republican lead. That's 70% of the votes. Not likely. -Tom

Begich has northern MN roots (father).

He's probably checking with the Franken campaign to see how many abandoned car trunks full of ballots might be needed.
