BO knows he will not enjoy not having complete control and resigns but first ‘Biden’ gets sick, resigns, BO names Mooch VP,
gets ‘caught’ in a scandal, resigns ‘For the good of the Country’, Mooch steps in and runs as the incumbent in 2016.
I realize I am probably ‘whistling past the graveyard’ BUT doesn’t McConnell have to be elected or is it a ‘shoo’ in to the Senior Member?
If some of the ‘old fogies’ can see the hand writing on the wall, maybe there can be some sort of uprising and remove both of the D apologists that sit in those chairs.
I would imagine it is an open vote, which makes it harder to rebel in case a couple of your ‘allies’ fold and you are left holding the bag when it comes to Committee Assignments.
Was thinking of the D’s and Dirty Tricks, we know/knew about the ‘walking around money’ years ago but in typical D fashion, if and when the question came up it was either sidestepped or ignored.
Think it was Lee Atwater(?) who helped Ronald Reagan mastermind his journey to the WH and was on one of the ‘shows’ and the subject came up.
As smart and political savvy he was (think he was an ‘organizer’ not a true blue tick sucking Pol) when the host mentioned “walking around money” Lee took the bait and explained chapter and verse what it was, how it was used and did most everything but name who ‘he’ gave it to.
He also discussed other ways the operatives got out the vote.
Naturally the SHTF and the R’s were bombarded with ethics charges etc.... THEY just don’t have a clue as to when to STFU.
Also about the time B Frank got ‘busted’ doing his ‘thing’ the R offered up a young Congressman -R Bauman -from MD who was leading the same life style as Frank but a little deeper in the closet.
He got outed, forced to resign (he had been a leading anti gay campaigner etc) while Frank continued to slobber his way through the next 20 years, even surviving his BF running a Male Homo House of ill Repute in his (Frank’s) basement.
(I was just looking something up on BF and saw where he publicly accused the BO WH of lying to the people. Not sure if I remember hearing that before..probably but didn’t pay any attention....

Might as well be a 'shoo' in. The Ruling Class Establishment see this as their moment and they will ensure no one dares stray from the line.
This GOP "victory" is being hailed as a repudiation of the TEA Party by Rove and his ilk.
Everyone will start to see by February, that Washington will not reform itself, nor allow itself to be reformed nor will it slow, stop or reverse the course of destruction Obama has set us on.
The few voices in Congress demanding justice and Constitutionality will be muted by the Leadership. Just you watch.
