“Cruz is much more establishment than a lot of FReepers think, or would like to believe.”

The biggest red flag with respect to Ted Cruz is his wife’s position as an executive of Goldman Sachs. Goldman is the worst of the “too big to fail” Wall Street Banks. It is the lead bank of the global banking cartel that has done so much to destroy the USA during the past 50 years. George Bush’s third Secretary of the Treasury and father of the bank bailouts with taxpayer money, Hank Paulson, was a former Goldman CEO. Jon Corzine, another Goldman CEO, was a corrupt New Jersey politician (Governor and US Senator) after leaving Goldman plus he has escaped prosecution for the billions stolen from MF Global customers. Goldman was a significant financial contributor to the election of Barack Obama in 2008. The bankers at Goldman are notorious for making money on both sides of financial transactions, yet somehow the bank escapes prosecution for blatant conflict of interest.

Mrs. Cruz sits comfortably in the executive suite at Goldman while her husband runs around the country opposing crony capitalism and leftist politicians owned by Goldman Sachs. Is this coincidence, a sign of tolerance by the leftist statists who also occupy the boardroom at Goldman, or evidence Cruz is just another actor playing his role in the kabuki theater show put on for the sheeple?

If Cruz is a patriot true and conservative, how can he and his wife be associated with a corrupt criminal financial organization, allied with leftist globalist statists, and strongly supportive of government actions suppressing liberty? Why is Mrs. Cruz able to maintain her status as a Goldman insider and decision maker?

Goldman is certainly the most crooked. They sold billions of mortgage-backed securities to their investors, then turned around and “shorted” those same securities, knowing it was toilet paper. But Goldman wisely gave Obama millions, so Holder never went after who I believe are the biggest crooks on Wall Street.

I agree that this a legitimate concern. I am hoping maybe someone can offer some kind explanation? What exactly is Mrs. Cruz's position at Goldman Sachs? Does anyone have accurate information?

Nice try.

Guilt by association is typically a leftist tactic.

BTW, what job does she hold? Do you know how she performs and how she votes?

Ted Cruz's wife has a seat at the table of one of the most powerful banking companies in the world, and as the retired global business executive of 30 years, as you claim to be, you somehow fail to see the benefit to having one of ours in such a powerful position and possibly in a position to influence GS for the good?

Your knee-jerk assumption is that she's corrupt just because she works at GS -- and then you carelessly and blythely extrapolate that supposition on to the premier leader of the conservative movement in America today?

Did you routinely size up all your business contacts that way for 30 years, or did you muster some maturity of perspective to recognize that not all persons who happen to be working in or with powerful entities are corrupt?

Is it your mis-conceived position that everyone who works at GS is corrupt? I periodically advise GS market analysts with respect to pharmaceutical industry trends. Am I aiding and abetting the inherently corrupt, or merely doing business in my trade with a client who values my advice and pays my bills?

One wonders what you would have thought of Jesus's association with Joseph of Arimathea -- a powerful merchant in his own right who likely had to deal every day with some of the most unscrupulous persons in the ancient world. I like to think that his association with Jesus influenced the businessmen of his day for the better - so why not Mrs. Cruz in her role at GS today?

Must you crush every blade of the grass of hope that grows within the Republican base?

But, seriously, that is good information to know. Maybe I’ll vote 3rd in 2016.
