The Florida State Board of Elections has denied Florida Democratic challenger Charlie Crist’s motion with the Circuit Court for the 17th Judicial Circuit to extend voting hours in Broward County that includes Fort Lauderdale. The area is understood to be a Democrat stronghold and is represented by Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
