Just voted at our local grade school. The polling ladies all very nice, checked our IDs, and gave us a long paper ballot, fill out both sides. We have the old pencil in the oval next to your guy/gal system and drop it in the blue box. Very old school. Feels like we voted.

ABC’s GARY LANGER: According to the preliminary exit poll data, here are three facts about voters in Arkansas, where Democratic incumbent Mark Pryor is fighting 5to keep his seat from Republican Tom Cotton.
Discontent among Arkansas voters is among the highest in the country; 72 percent think the country is headed seriously off on the wrong track and two-thirds disapprove of Obamas job performance.
A majority, 54 percent, think the healthcare law went too far.
Turnout among Democrats is at a low, 29 percent, in Senate exit poll data since 1992.

It is too soon to say, but a wave may be building Definitely something going on. Here in Central Illinois (much redder that the north end of the state), our sleepy little hamlet delivered over twice the usual number of voters. I was there at about 6:30, and the poll workers were rejoicing that the polls were closing soon, because they'd been working so hard all day to keep up. Paper ballots, BTW.

Not getting my hopes up. What usually happens in VA statewide races is the rural districts report first, the GOP candidate pulls out front by a mile, then the urban areas get counted and the lead vanishes and turns into a loss...we’ll see...

Fox knows that, and is calling it too close to call simply on how much Gillespie is outperforming expectations. They know the northern counties go dem, and have factored it in.

I like Megan. As far as her giggling and giddiness I can relate. I have felt that way over the past few months watching the dimocrats running away from BO like a pack of scalded dogs. Tonight it’s like watching the climax of something like ‘house of cards’ in real time.
