Mainstream GOP sees tipping point vs. insurgent candidates (Tea Party Are Losers)
Politico ^ | 11/3/14 | ALEXANDER BURNS

For the Republican Party’s leadership, taking control of the U.S. Senate might not even be the sweetest part of a victory in 2014. With growing confidence as Election Day approaches, Republican leaders are preparing to argue that broad GOP gains in the House and Senate would represent a top-to-bottom validation of their party’s mainline wing. Having taken a newly heavy-handed approach to the primary season this year, the top strategists of the Republican coalition say capturing the majority would set a powerful precedent for similar actions in the future — not just in Senate and congressional races, but in the presidential primary season as well.

National Republicans managed this year to snuff out every bomb-throwing insurgent who tried to wrest a Senate nod away from one of their favored candidates. They spent millions against baggage-laden activists such as Matt Bevin, the Louisville investor who mounted a ham-fisted challenge to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, and Mississippi state Sen. Chris McDaniel, the conservative upstart who imperiled a safe seat by nearly ousting longtime Sen. Thad Cochran.

...If this fresh tack leads to victory, Republicans expect that aggressive posture (warring on Conservative Tea Party) will carry over into 2016.

Ho-hum...

A final political “dirty trick” being played by “Politico” to try to demoralize Conservatives just before the polls open.

The proof: Not a peep about lefty Lindsay Graham and HIS successful “divide-and-conquer” strategy to “keep” his seat.

We need to start looking at GOP senators whose terms end in 2016. We need to find solid replacements for any “big spenders” like Thad Cochran and for anyone who favors “open borders”.

Let’s do this work SOONER rather than LATER...

Politco is NOT the slightest bit conservative folks.

I predict that they've even made up this so-called 'story,' as much as the plagiarists at the NYT.

Absolutely, the GOP welcomes the tea party intimidation by the IRS, anything to discourage and marginalize Conservatives.

They despise us, and are joining Dems to ruin the tea party brand.

Sounds like they don't want our vote tomorrow.

I’m catching a whif of a last minute Conservative vote suppression effort here.

Perhaps, but the actions of the Ruling Class Establishment verify that what Politico reported is true.

We in the Tea Party already know this, and this story simply validates our positions in regards to tomorrow and what it portends for Conservatives in the GOP.

The TP will not go away because the TP is all about the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers which the GOP wrongly ignores just like Democrats do.

Regarding the GOP’s misguided war on the TP and the Constitution, the Constitution needs to be amended to prohibit political party support for the federal government. After all, given that one of the very few powers that the states have actually delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, to regulate an aspect of intrastate commerce is the power to regulate the US Mail Service, why do we need political parties to decide policy for the US Mail Service?

What on earth is the upside of letting this out today? If true those Republican strategists should be fired on the spot.

This is exactly why I said we need to hand Mitch McConnell his head tomorrow. We cannot afford to let he and Cochran get away with this crap.

Mark Levin has been out there supporting Tea Party candidates and he’s entitled to his opinion about how to vote tomorrow.

I would only vote for a handful of the GOP candidates for Senate like Maness in LA and Roberts in KS and also Jeff Bell, who’s trailing Cory Booker in NJ.

The GOPe will see a win tomorrow as vindication of liberalism in the party, not conservatism....

Yawn....

We just keep doing what we are doing. Winning local elections. Primary leftist GOPe aholes. We WILL win... Its inevitable... Kinda like the ocean wearing away mountains and all that kind of long term crap.

We cannot be “demoralized” because we have no choice. We will never stop, we simply cant.

We will also bring new weapons to the forefront. This election will be the trial run of one of the biggies... May not be totally successful on this run, but we will go back and tinker with it until it is. Which weapon is that? Voting against the GOPe in the General.

I was here on 9/12.

Fox News reported 10s of thousands which was BS.
They sent an ambulance through the crowd just to make a point.
Do you think this Tea Party crowd hasn't grown?
Do you think this energy level has dissipated and will be unwilling to show up en force between now and 2016?
The GOP is in a world of hurt when we come back.
Ted Cruz for President.

They are counting on 'winning' for their treachery and there have been direct AND subtle comments that what Politico reported is not only the true mindset of the Ruling Class Establishment, but their entire strategy.

The Democrats and the Establishment GOP have a common enemy they BOTH want destroyed and made irrelevant: True Conservatives, because the Ruling Class in both parties WANT what Obama has transformed us into.

That may in fact be the case in your area but the people did vote for the winner - not Karl Rove or Thad Cochrane. Those who won in the Primary didn't do in by two or three votes, in most cases.

We do get the leaders we deserve (at least the majority of "we" among us) and unfortunately what we're seeing around the country is very few of the people marching on state capitols to demand the impeachment of liberal judges who with the stroke of a pen, overturn history since Genesis, regarding marriage, just like we didn't demand the Supreme Court overturn Roe v. Wade!!!

We've allowed teacher's unions to indoctrinate America's children to be "good little Leftys" like they are.

Fortunately, there is still time to turn those children around and other "low information voters" with the truth, if we have the guts to do it.

The problem with all societies is once they no longer have to worry about starvation and imminent death, their moral compasses begin to swing back to conditions that brought them under tyrants, that they overthrew in the first place.

The only reason to release this today is a last ditch effort at a viral story that will suppress the GOP vote tomorrow.

I want the names of the “Top GOP Strategists” who declined to go on the record about this. Without them, it strikes me as way too similar to past Lib media opinion-driving stories using made-up sources (so fake, but accurate).

I’m not saying that those who are disinclined to give the GOPe a pass should change their minds. But we all need to make informed decisions about voting tomorrow, and that means being aware of possible dirty tricks tactics to influence us.

More Bogus Nonsense from Politico.

No, notbthatnGOPe are not fools. They are.

But that this means conservatives are defeated.

This nonsense is meant to discourage and divide republicans and conservatives.

It is time for conservatives to take over and this is part of the process.

Let’s wait til Wednesday to count the chickens.
