Jack Welch to GOP: Run a real conservative in 2016
cnbc.com ^ | November 3, 2014 | Matthew J. Belvedere

Republicans need to run a presidential candidate in 2016 like a Ted Cruz or a Rand Paul, not a Jeb Bush or a Chris Christie, management guru Jack Welch told CNBC on Monday.

Bush and Christie are "too middle of the road" to win the country, the conservative-leaning Welch said in a "Squawk Box" interview—a day before the 2014 midterm election in which Republicans hope to take control of the Senate.

...

There are more conservatives than liberals. It’s a sure path to victory that the GOP rejects.

And Reagan was divorced. I don’t know why...but he was.

Please, no Wienies like Dole, Romney, McCain or Jeb Bush.

Stop using liberal moderators to help these guys. It is a turnoff for Republicans.

So was King David (an adulterer but God chose him to lead his people even though he punished David for his sin) but as Paul so eloquently said, "we are ALL sinners and I am chief sinner of all!"

Don't wait for the perfect leader for he/she has never existed and never will but look to the one who believes sin is wrong, even if they secumb to it but believe right should prevail and stay far away from the leader who points his/her finger at others calling out their sin as a Pharisee would do, pretending to be perfect.

King David comes to mind also as someone who wouldn’t qualify.

Jack Welch to GOP: Run a real conservative in 2016

Cruz: Hillary will win if GOP runs a Moderate in 2016

Ted Cruz and Jack Welch both provide leadership on the right 2016 messaging ... Run a real conservative. We should join them in this endeavor, rather than being uselessly distracted by talking about Mitt, adultery allegations, etc.

‘That pic of him with Kennedy and that stupid ass smile gives me the willies everytime someone posts it.’

So true. When people mention how smart Romney is, I point them to that photo. When destroying an entire state via Kennedy’s poisonous, toxic, devastating healthcare mandate, it doesn’t take a lot of smarts not to grin like a demented Cheshire Cat.

I am taking the extreme Biblical definition. If the individual who made the original statement wants to be "pure," than lets go all the way. Than no one is ever good enough. I may have been too extreme, but I tend to believe in Reagans 80 percent line.

Actually, I do not believe Reagan cheated on Jane or Nancy, and that it probably pained him a great deal to divorce from Jane.

Bro...

Here is the deal... THE MINIMUM a religious (Christian) conservative should hope for is that the government isn’t actively trying to crush them. The VERY MOST you guys should hope for is that the gov protects your freedom to worship how you see fit. (unless your muslim, then you have to abide by OUR laws and shove your sharia up your anus)

SO... To put it bluntly...

STOP IT! STOP IT NOW!

We ARE are at war. We need to choose our brothers in arms carefully. not only do we need to be sure of their fidelity to the cause before we trust them we also need to forgive some things that dont directly relate to winning the war and beating the enemy. Men and women who love freedom will sometimes enjoy their freedom more than might be palatable to others, however they ALSO make great and foot soldiers against an enemy that intends to wipe out individual liberty.

Give me two candidates:

1. One that has never committed adultery but is a leftist
2. One that has committed adultery but is devoted to the cause of freedom.

Ill vote for #2 EVERY DAMN TIME!

This is WAR. We need warriors who are faithful to the cause, not necessarily their wives or husbands (although that would be nice)... Having a “weakness” for sex does NOT equate to infidelity to cause.

You want someone who said yesterday on TV that he thinks the Republicans ( probably hinting at Ted Cruz!) should stop trying to make voter ID a issue?? Want HIM for PRESIDENT? I DON’T!! He and his daddy are strange lots!

For the reason I stated before, yes. We need Rand to neuter the Executive Office - only He will sign the laws needed. After that, I’ll vote for any conservative ...
