Five common voter suppression tactics that experts look for:
ELECTION DATE CHANGE
Emails, robocalls or paper flyers placed in mailboxes or on car windshields telling voters that one political party votes on one day, and everyone else on another, are simply not true.
INTIMIDATION
In the past, billboards with ominous messages have appeared in neighborhoods, "observers" have threatened to challenge the eligibility of certain voters.
ARREST THREATS
Polling places do not have access to voters' criminal records. Anything that says you can be arrested for showing up to vote if you have unpaid parking tickets, outstanding arrest warrants or a criminal record is untrue.
CHANGE OF POLLING LOCATION, HOURS
Polling places are assigned at the time of voter registration, and those locations are the only places voters can cast an in-person ballot on Election Day.
"DO NOT VOTE" MESSAGES
Some sides try to depress voting by telling the electorate that polls show a certain race is already over, or that one candidate or the other is so far ahead that one more vote won't matter.

seems the rat voters are so fn stupid they need these idiots to warn them about the tricks these white people play to prevent them from voting. Offer some free sh## and they’ll be camping out overnight
I am not holding my breath waiting for this fine unbiased network to follow up with its next report:
‘The myriad of ways that voter fraud is perpetrated.’
DemocRAT get out the vote “ground game” tactics. Send out threatening letters reminding registered DemocRAT voters that the DNC knows where they live if they don’t vote.
What a lame article. While I don’t doubt that some of these tactics have been used to one degree or another over the years they provide zero evidence that any of it is happening now.
Just another leftist propaganda piece to divert attention away from the real election fraud that is being perpetrated by the left right now!
The only one that would work would be to distribute flyers all over the poor neighborhoods advertising giveaways of large amounts of obamabucks. When the people arrive and there are no obamabucks, rioting will be too extensive for anybody to vote, much less 118% of the population
The threats of checking if they voted are a new one (at least to me)
This is really the most desperate thing I have heard yet.
I don’t think people respond well to threats like that
good ol’ ABC Just helping the depressed.
Actually these are are the things the left do.
The Organization that sounds like mob lingo Oh wait it is.
From what I read here yesterday, it’s happening in at least two states. Unbelievable. I don’t think we’re in America anymore. I wouldn’t be surprised if the DNC sends out their Gestapo Tuesday morning to march their “supporters” to the polls at the point of a gun.

Nevermind the creepy George Orwell letters.
ALL those racist billboards I’ve seen in inner city Atlanta...threatening blacks not to show up or get arrested
NOT!
Free flat screen to all that vote on November 5. If you vote on the 4th, you are not eligible.
I still haven’t received anything about the election in the mail in Brooklyn, NY, and I’m registered Republican over here.
No surprise to me, really.
You have to be kidding. This joke goes around every election year.
It's a joke! No one takes it seriously. And frankly, if you fall for it, you probably aren't sufficiently informed to be voting responsibly.
Some sides try to depress voting by telling the electorate that polls show a certain race is already over, or that one candidate or the other is so far ahead that one more vote won't matter.
This happens almost every year. And the biggest offenders are ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN. That's the message they sent in 2006, by breathlessly reporting Bush's unpopularity almost every day, and "wondering" how it will affect the election. And, they were repeatedly trumpeting how the Democrats "might" take over Congress. It was an unsubtle hint to who should be sure to vote, and who shouldn't bother. Of course, it became a self-fulfilling prophecy.
In 2012, it's almost exactly the same situation. But, the roles of the party in power and the party poised to take power are reversed.
And what is the lamestream media saying about it? Crickets.
Aaargh! I had a brain fa**. Of course, it's 2014.
I wish it was the same situation as now, back in 2012. We would have been rid of the idiot in the Oval Office for 2 years.
The low-information voters are finally getting it. The big question is whether they will fall for the same song-and-dance by Shrillary in 2016.
